Cool piece, cool style. Enjoyed it from the git-go. Gave just enough in each sentence to urge the reader on to the next, yet fill him with info a the same time. Enjoyed the clear character descriptions of the gangly kid and "hair the color of beats". 5-star ending that keeps one thinking about the story after it's over.

This was a tough one for me. The more I read it the more I liked it. You have a great style and I like how you use the language to create a tone for the piece. I'll be interested to read what others think of the story.
